Goldstone is not gold and it is not a 'stone'. It is a man-made material made from tiny copper flakes suspended in copper colored glass. At one time, this material was called "Monkstone", because the process of making it was originated by an Italian monk. The material used in the bracelet above is so dark blue that it sometimes looks black.

Chech Glass - glass making in the Czech Republic is an age old cottage industry. The beads that we use are still made in small quantities by hand.
